1 month

My daughter is one month old today, time sure flies.

last night

For some amazing reason yesterday Natalia slept through the whole day, she would only wake up to nurse and fall back into a deep sleep with no effort. I was fine with it, so I did everything I had to, cleaned the room, fixed her clothes, gave her a bath, etc.
At night she slept from 8 to 12, and I tried waking her up but she was totally conked out, then poof!
the magic was gone, she opened her eyes and was wide awake until.....4 am! And to top it off she nursed so much that she threw up, all over me, the bed...etc. so that was my night...just the beginning of motherhood, they say it only gets better.

I'm an auntie again!

This little dude happens to be, my brother Felipe's son, my daughter Natalia's little cousin, born on the 26th of September, 5 days old than her. Welcome Rafael! One more to our big happy Family...hooray!

I lost a cousin last week, he had a motorcycle accident and his brain was very damaged, his skull broken in a few pieces. he was only 18 years old, smart and someone that everyone loved.
Now, he's gone to be with the Lord where he can be fully used. Please pray for his parents and his sister as well as everyone else involved. Its taking them a while to get over it and accept it.

unpatient

I'm waiting for Natalia to be born, whoever looks at my tummy thinks she's about to pop out, for some reason she's taking a while. The doctor says that if she doesn't pop out till Monday, a C-section might be needed. I've been feeling contractions but they're on and off, nothing regular. Someone mentioned today that seems like shes playing with me. I certainly think so too.

Everyone in the home is pretty excited, they ask me how I'm feeling all the time, and sometimes I'm feeling nothing. I seriously thought she was gonna be born on the 9th, we got everything ready and....next day I had no pain, no contractions, no nothing...lol
anyways, I'm claiming the keys of patience and trust and good timing as the hospital is not so close to our home. I figure she'll be born this weekend, by the power of the keys....
