I did it!

I took Naty to cut her hair for the first time , mainly trim it. she was a pretty good girl and actually enjoyed it! when it was finished she wanted to cut her hair again..ha! looks healthier though. Now the problem is she doesnt want to keep it tied, it has to be loose because its prettier that way. serious vanity fair...Lord help me!

About summer and other things

Things are starting to heat up around here...yay! I even got to go the pool last weekend and felt so light while in it, as soon as i got out...as heavy as can be! it was pretty funny.
Well, I'm 5 mos pg now and havent taken any pictures of my growing tummy, Mom is coming for a visit she'll be her the whole month and a little more. hopefully she'll find a nice whealthy man to marry...or so she hopes!

Very belated post

This post actually belongs to the month of September but since i havent been so much in the mood for blogging, plus I dont really get to use the internet so much or as much as Í'd like i have postpone it until now. the following pictures were from an outing we had for my b-day, lots of beer, good laughs, great company, loads of fun...thanks husband!

Yes mam' I'm 2 mos pregnant with my second munchkin, gotta wait 2 more months to know if its a boy or a girl, everyone is telling me it will be a boy but I dont want to make any guesses. happy, excited, tired, nauseas. cant stand meat! hopefully it will stop as soon as I turn 3 mos. lets see.

Goodbye Brasilia....

I started writing this the night before I left, but i never got to post it...

Been here for a year and 3 mos, tomorrow I leave. Living in brasilia for the 3rd time was a mixture of good times, lessons learned, fun, battles fought, new Friendships, among other things. I will truly miss it. I'm glad Natalia grew up in such a lovely and heavenly place, where she could, swim, feed the ducks and chickens, feed the fishes, play in the park and have a nice classroom for her and her school mate Lolly with so many toys and all kinds of fun things. Goodbye Brasilia, once more.

Issues

All my brothers last name are Ferreira and mine for some strange reason yet unknown of is Oliveira, ok, calm down...still my dads name. the question is WHY? maybe cause I happen to be the only girl or some stupid person that was doing my birth certificate didnt do it right. I was shocked and horrified when I found out I was Oliveira. I use to always sign my name as Ferreira till I went to make my id at the age of 9 and it was a big surprise to everyone and so the guy advised us to write as it was written in the birth certificate...still wondering why...

Latest news

Gosh, its been almost a month I dont blog. well, to make a long story short, Me, Miguel and Naty are moving downsouth to continue with our mission of spreading out the message and being a light to this dark world.Tthings happened pretty fast and now we're flying on the 26.
Winter has just arrived...brrrrrr and since the place is surrounded by mountains, I'm freezing already! Anyways...Off to a brand new start, wish me luck!

Rebooting

The day finaly came...and now we know how much change it meant.

Pool inauguration

And so it is we have a pool! after many months dreaming of one, our is finally finished, full and being used. Today we had some of our friends come over to enjoy the pool, they had lunch with us and we had a great time.

Sad news

After 2 months in the hospital in comma my Grandpa passed away Wednesday morning.
he was buried yesterday in his City Barreiras where all my relatives were able to attend to his funeral. Please pray for my mom whos with my Grandma day and night and my Grandma as well, dont know how long she can take it.

Ant piles

oh god, we have so many of those on our garden! I always hoped the girls would never step on them..but today was the day...
We went to get some "acerola" on the tree and Naty was so distracted eating them that she stepped on a ant pile without noticing. When I looked at her it was too late, she was kicking and crying in pain.
Less than half a second later, while I'm still trying to comfort her, Lolly steps on it too....now too crying/screaming kids. Oh God... POOR GIRLS! I took of their pants off and ran to get water to throw on their legs and feet. The bad part is that Lolly got it worst, or so it seems shes allergic so it looks terrible, her feet and legs are all swollen from the bites. What a day!

Welcome Ryan!

My nephew is born! Ryan Oliver, born to Satu and my brother Thiago. We patiently waited for him to pop out and now the time finaly came...I'm so happy. I'M AN AUNTIE AGAIN! Waiting for pix to post....HURRAY!!!

YES GIRL!

Last night I watched this movie called "Yes man" with Jim Carrey, its a little trippy in some ways but it was a nice movie to watch and I figured we say the word NO too much,we all could say YES a little bit more, of course not to every stupid thing like in the movie but get out of that boxed up life, I wish i would just stop analyzing the outcomes and just go for it... Yes, I'm determined to be a YES GIRL! Here I come....

JT camp

Me and Stephen sooter threw together and 1 day and a half camp for the jetts and juniors here in the area. There weren't many,but it was fun...you could tell by their happy faces that they were having a blast, it was more like fun and play. Except for the part when it rained and we had to camp inside the house...hehehe. Lots of good food and junky stuff that teens like...we promise to make more... hopefully.

sick grandpa

One week ago my grandpa came all the way from his city in bahia, 8 hours from here to be hospitalized here in Brasilia, he's been sick for quite a while. he has diabetes, kidney problems and a urinary infection...now his situation is more serious he is in a comma.I went to see him in the hospital yesterday, I didnt get to see him, because everyone told me that he was a sorrowful sight, skinny, full of tubes and wires everywhere so I took the advice. Dont know how long he's going to last so please pray that the Lord will have his will.

Pabs in Chile

One of our home members went to visit his family in Chile, which he hasnt seen in 2 years, and 2 days after he's there the whole earthquake bussiness happens. right in the city where he was...we panicked!!!! Today though we found out that he is fine...phew! Thank God.

*Our pump broke we had no running water for a whole week

Bathroom situation

So we sing at this restaurant called "Oliver" every Tuesday and since we stop singing at midnight we're one of the last ones to leave. After singing I went to use the bathroom and when i'm there i hear 2 guys coming in. and I thought: "how odd, oh maybe its the owner since he is visiting, he came to see if the bathroom looks good since it just went through some repairs."
so I take super long to get out, flush the toilet twice to see if they leave, but they didnt so I opened the door and one of the guys was shocked to see a girl in the girls bathroom! lol.... he said: " sorry, we thought there was no one here, plus the guys bathroom is not working, so sorry." Its fine I said, and while he talked to me the other guy was peeing with the door opened taking his time...
I washed my hands and ran out of the bathroom, they were super embarrassed after. it turned out that they were clients of the restaurant 2 young dudes....life is funny, you never know what might happen.

hello 2010

Yes, its finally here, Im so glad!!
This year started somewhat slow, and things are starting to pick up the pace now ... new year, new things on the horizon. changes....oh lots of them!
Our home has diminish its size from 34 to 25 people so things are a lot easier and more smooth too.
still havent got together to see what our goals for this next year will be and how we're going to run the home.
This year promises great things...lets wait and see.

Vacations

just dropping by to say hi and that I'm down south visiting my husbands parents and relatives. Its been good so far, very hot and summer like, we've been in the pool all day especially Natalia whos become a little fish...heheheh. going back home on the 12. until then....xoxoxoox
