No this is not me...My gorgeous friend Angela that lives in Africa, shes brazilian like me!!! I known her ever since I was an Oc. She made this cute card and sent it out so I decided to post it. all this to wish you once more a happy new year!

This Christmas was the best guys, we sung everywhere! here are a few places where the Lord opened doors for us to sing and spread the message about the real meaning of Christmas. the funnest was the Supermarket, because it looked so stupid, only 4 of us and one guitar in a huge place! but people really liked it and after all...its always good to do the huble thing....hehehe

There's a party going on tonight...after the Cmas push and lots of hard work comes a time to have fun! Also because New year is just around! In case I dont get to do this, Im wishing you all a wonderful new year with lots of love, peace and most of all the Joy of the Lord, we need it!!!!!
2007 promises to be a great year, so lets wait and see what the Lord has in store for us, shall we?

This man, believe it or not is the author of the following pictures, their just perfect! he is really good. We met him during carolling and seems like he has a fascination for Indians, he even went out to the Amazon and stayed there for 20 days, taking pictures and filming. all to portrait them later.

Shy me

I guess I never realized how shy I am...the other night when out busking, after singing I had to help one of the girls by going to the tables and selling the Cds...so off I went to the far end of one big table, I talk to 3 guys and they buy the cd, PTL, not so bad. but then one of them asks me for an autograph! Im like : " Wait! you gotta be kidding right?" and the guy is like: "NO! I want an autograph! seriously!" he gets a pen and a napkin. I blushed and started laughing. the other guys noticed it and said: " Funny man, shes shy, shes embarassed! and she was just singing right now, how does that work?"
I wrote my name on the napkin, said thank you and off I went, red as a tomato.

Success and Failure

I read once in an Ikea postcard: “The only time you don’t make mistakes is when you’re sleeping”.
I thought that was funny because what if you’re sleeping with the wrong person? Now that is a classic mistake.

Still, it’s good to remember that every mistake brings you one step closer to success. In looking back at what I’ve accomplished over the past 6 months, my idealistic self wishes so much more would be done by now… but the reality is that I’ve only done what I’ve done. Discouraging? Only if I allow it to be. Thomas Edison ruled out the option of giving up. I love his attitude in saying:

I have not failed 700 times. I have not failed once.

I have succeeded in proving that those 700 ways will not work.

When I have eliminated the ways that will not work, I will find the way that will work.

I will, I will. You’ll see!!!!!

Big bros visit

My bro came to visit me everyone!! came all the way from Mexico. I was so happy to see him, even though it was a quick visit we had a good time, I helped him packing the suitcases. he brought me a bottle of tequila

Congrats to Iris and Jeu! Baby Beatriz was born on December 10, a little earlier than what we expected but, shes a gorgeous little thing, happy and healthy. Im so happy for you guys! I wish I was there to grab those precious cheeks! Love you tons..take good care of this little Angel. xoxoxox

The other way around

You wouldnt believe what happened to me last night...
we went singing to this one family Christmas get-together, major barbecue, good food, etc. we got there earlier and kinda helped around with some stuff. they were really sweet people. I needed to use the bathroom so off I went, but when I needed to get out, the door wouldnt open! And I thought to myself..."Great! here I am locked! how embarassing..." I started freaking out and banging on the door till someone came to my rescue.
A girl, shes like : " ok, calm down, turn the lock, slowly, try again..." but it wouldnt open... I freaked out more! then shes like: " ok, try turning the other way around."I thought to myself " how odd, but I'll give it a try..."
I turned it and it opened. Phew! that was close, the rest of the busking team started laughing at me. If I would've stayed locked it would be the end of our busking night. but God is good and even though it was very embarassing I didnt had spend my night there.

"Can you give us an example?"

Something Special

Thats the name of our singing group believe it or not...and the most funny thing about it is that the girls are all tall and the only 2 boys are pretty short...lol!! but its been fun to sing with these guys...they have a great sense of humor! we usually go all the way to our singing spot laughing our heads off. theres always some joke to crack about something. after all is Christmas...lets be merry!!!

Congrats to my dear friend Nani

Here are some pix of Zion, Nani and Estevão's kid. Nani is my good friend I know her for almost 2 years, you know when you dont know to meet someone for too long to love him/her to pieces? Shes sweet, talented and loving... So cute!! The good news is that I'm pretty close to where she lives so I'll be able to visit and watch baby Zion grow. Fun, Fun! since my nephew Reilly is far away.
