hi guys, this is is just a short post to let you know that I'm alive and kicking, the house is nice, people are sweet and we're fine. Natalia's 7 mos old, super smart, loves having school, she's crazy for videos, shes also eating tons and growing up, that's for sure. please pray that we get internet and telephone cause right now we have none. love you all,

Sunday is the d-day, our bus leaves at 6 pm. I already miss everyone here, but life goes on. The home is preparing this goodbye thing for us tonight...oh no...these beautiful moments when you feel like you want to cry and you do cry...ahhhh. wont hold back my tears, don't worry I'll be fine.

Recording at Naipe Studios

I had a chance to record this last week, a total dream come true. The whole idea was to record Portuguese witnessing songs and post them on the Regional CGO site. So I was able to record 2, simple demos but it gave me a taste of what recording in the studio is like. There were some very essential people that made this day and a half possible. My husband Miguel who took care of Natalia in a very small space,having to entertain her for a long time. thank you hubby.
JM and Jeremy who did all the work. love you guys, thank you so much! The song will hopefully come out in a few weeks...I'll try posting it here for you.

Our next move

Me, Miguel and baby Natalia are officially moving to Brasilia, the capital. Most probably, by the beginning of next month. After praying and hearing from the Lord several times, talking and counseling together

Patiently waiting for things to happen, the folks there to move houses and get settled. Meanwhile slowly packing, visiting friends and provisioning the things we need.

3rd time I'll be living there, guess all things are new when you want them to be. I must admit I will miss Sao Paulo, all the fun I had and everything I learned. My life was literally thrown upside down in this city, the Lord worked in my life; I was taken to new heights, embraced new challenges, grew by leaps and bounds, met a wonderful guy and gave birth to a beautiful little girl all in 2 years and a few months.
Guess I’ll end here before this post becomes too emotional... My last words: Thank God for change.

Chili beans night

2 of our friends, Luiz and Mariane decided to cook for us today, they spent the whole day getting ready. not being used to cook for a lot of people. The food? Chili beans. Quantity? 3 big pots. how many were left? one only. Along with the chili beans was served a sour cream, lots of doritos, tacos and salad.
As I passed by the kitchen today my thoughts were always the same: " well, praise the lord, I guess we're gonna be eating chili beans for a few weeks." so you can imagine my face when I checked and 2 of them were completely empty. I didn't eat so much, being a nursing mother I always think before I eat. Natalia has a hard time whenever I eat beans, so I figured I would save her the trouble.
My husband ate 3 plates...as you can guess, he went to sleep with the dog...and that was "the end" in every sense of the word.

Family vacation

On Dec 24th we flew to Bento goncalves, a small city in the south. we wanted to spend cmas with Miguels parents and relatives. also to show Natalia around since none of them really knew her. we stayed till the 5th of January. here are some sweet pix for you.much better...it was too sunny!
