an aries birthday

I'm a full time teacher, and I teach Windy who just turned 4 , its easier cause I teach her in Portuguese, being my first language I can say that we get along pretty well. She comes up with the funniest things I've ever seen...
On April 16 was her birthday, being a typical Aries, she wanted all the attention to herself....
Her first words to her mom were: " Mom, its my b-day wish me happy birthday!" ha!
so off she went to have her breakfast while the adults were having devotions in the living room, and soon as devotions was done she popped out of the kitchen and said loud and clear: "You guys, No one wished me happy birthday yet!" So we instantly started singing happy birthday to you... she flipped!
The funniest thing though was when she was having school, and she asked me if we were gonna finish it in time to make a card, I said maybe, her face lit up and she said: " Auntie Josie, we can a make a card for myself, its my birthday!" I cracked and explained to her that people don't make cards for themselves, she had to wait for people to give her cards. thank God she was fine about it and in the end she got almost 10 cards...

Surprise!

Well....I went to make the ultrasound today and thank God the baby is just fine,normal and growing happy and healthy. And we found out that ITS GIRL!!! One more to this world...She moved so much! It took longer to take all the measures cause she wouldn't stop, very cute!
to make this short, I have a round belly with a baby girl inside, hopefully I will take pix this weekend and post them for you.

pg stuff

I must confess its a taking me a while to get used to this pregnancy thing, sometimes I even forget I'm pregnant! Its kinda freaky to open your closet and that one pile of jean pants you had, that fitted you perfectly doesn't anymore. getting comments like: "were these the pants that I liked so much and that were lose on you?" lol....its cool, I'm alright, it just takes sometime to adjust to all the changes which are many.
I felt my baby move for the first time today, I was praying for my brother Felipe and he started moved, weird sensation....but pretty cool, on the 25th gonna do a ultrasound to see if hes alright and find out if its a he or a she, cant wait....Yes I will let you know.

blogs

I guess blogging is not so appealing to me anymore, whenever I sit to blog. my mind goes blank I cant think of anything fun to say, I try to post pictures but to my frustration something always goes wrong and I end up giving up.
If you check my blog often to find out whats new, don't give up on me, I'm sure inspiration will return. Happy belated Easter and Happy B-day Gabi.

Meet the father

This guy everyone, happens to be the father of my kid. Miguel his name, he is my sugar bunny!I know he looks scary in this picture, but he's sweet, a real love. Takes care of me, loves me, makes me laugh and its truly a precious gift from God to me....and in case you didn't know....

YES! I'm 3 months pregnant and its a pretty cool sensation. I'm not having morning sickness or throwing up and stuff. The Lord is already supplying the things the baby will need miraculously. I am happy and excited, its a new stage of my life. Its just hard to go slow or sleep more, and not have the energy I use to have. But I guess nothing compares to that little chubby face smiling at you.
I want a boy, lets see what the Lord wants....so far he supplied boy clothes so...maybe it means that...I don't know!
I have so many pictures to post but for some reason they're taking forever to upload and I'm not being patient enough. yes..pray for me....xoxoxoxo

Twice as Special

I guess every Valentines day I'm gonna write the same thing, this day makes it twice as Special as my nephew Reilly was born, he's turning 2 today....here goes a pic for you.

I've been home since the 15th, just letting you know that I'll be posting pictures of my vacations and other fun things soon. Im glad to be back...there's no place like home!

Summer days

Rio de Janeiro, RJ

my vacations so far...
have been great! been sleeping till late, fellowshiping, playing the guitar, talking,eating my dad's delicious bread and reading the word a lot more.
I finaly went to the beach today with 3 other girls, it was so cool! I almost forgot what a beach looked like after not seeing one in a year. Got tanned!! yuppie!!!! the Sun was blazing hot, it gave me little headache but I'll be alright. I feel great!
The whole plan of coming to Rio was my family getting together, but then for one reason or another it didnt work out , my younger brother left to spend his vacations in Sao Paulo and I didnt even had a chance to see him...So its just Dad, Felipe, Thiago and Me getting together. I guess its better than not getting together at all. I'm so thankful.... extreme praise....heheheheh
My big brother Thiago, will be visiting us for the weekend, so that should be fun.
Monday will be flying to Bento Goncalves, pretty exciting...
