the state I'm in
I must confess I miss blogging, its been so long, one of our 2 computers totally passed out...lol
so we only have one for God knows how many people to use. You all know I haven't been a faithful blogger, now with only 1 computer, I'll probably be even more unfaithful. sorry...
I wanted to ask if you guys could pray for my back, I already have a back problem called Scoliosis, and being pregnant and all it gets worse, its really uncomfortable and its been hurting a lot. babies are pretty heavy....so when you remember me please shoot up a prayer.

My older brother Tiago just moved to Argentina...who would've thought? he thought of turkey, puerto rico but ended up with our neighbours.

Cold days
No matter what you say or do will make me like cold weather, its just not for me. Sao Paulo is getting colder everyday, and winter hasn't showed his face around yet!
Grew up in a city named Salvador, and it like summer all the time, winter for us was rain and we would wear a thin long sleeve, so you can imagine the rest of the year.
I get all kinds of allergies and weird stuff I never thought I had. but thank the Lord anyways, if it weren't for the cold wintry days we would never appreciate the hot and sunny ones, my prayer is that they wont last for too long....

What I most love about pictures is that they tell stories. This one in particular happened last year when me, Anita, Gabi, John C. and Silas were on a faith trip. It was a small city and was packed to the brim, the hotels were full and there was nowhere to sleep. I felt like Mary and Joseph and sympathized with them.
As you can see we're in a restaurant of one of our friends, waiting for some help....she was worried about us trying to find a corner for us to lay our heads. She slept at the restaurant as her house was taken by her relatives. Definitely tired and uninspired we took these pictures to remind ourselves and the enemy that we wouldn't give up.
To make a sad story a little happier, she made a way and we slept in her laundry room, which was big enough to fit 4 of us. We threw blankets on the floor, wore warm clothes and slept like angels.

an aries birthday
I'm a full time teacher, and I teach Windy who just turned 4 , its easier cause I teach her in Portuguese, being my first language I can say that we get along pretty well. She comes up with the funniest things I've ever seen...
On April 16 was her birthday, being a typical Aries, she wanted all the attention to herself....
Her first words to her mom were: " Mom, its my b-day wish me happy birthday!" ha!
so off she went to have her breakfast while the adults were having devotions in the living room, and soon as devotions was done she popped out of the kitchen and said loud and clear: "You guys, No one wished me happy birthday yet!" So we instantly started singing happy birthday to you... she flipped!
The funniest thing though was when she was having school, and she asked me if we were gonna finish it in time to make a card, I said maybe, her face lit up and she said: " Auntie Josie, we can a make a card for myself, its my birthday!" I cracked and explained to her that people don't make cards for themselves, she had to wait for people to give her cards. thank God she was fine about it and in the end she got almost 10 cards...

Surprise!
Well....I went to make the ultrasound today and thank God the baby is just fine,normal and growing happy and healthy. And we found out that ITS GIRL!!! One more to this world...She moved so much! It took longer to take all the measures cause she wouldn't stop, very cute!
to make this short, I have a round belly with a baby girl inside, hopefully I will take pix this weekend and post them for you.

pg stuff
I must confess its a taking me a while to get used to this pregnancy thing, sometimes I even forget I'm pregnant! Its kinda freaky to open your closet and that one pile of jean pants you had, that fitted you perfectly doesn't anymore. getting comments like: "were these the pants that I liked so much and that were lose on you?" lol....its cool, I'm alright, it just takes sometime to adjust to all the changes which are many.
I felt my baby move for the first time today, I was praying for my brother Felipe and he started moved, weird sensation....but pretty cool, on the 25th gonna do a ultrasound to see if hes alright and find out if its a he or a she, cant wait....Yes I will let you know.
