Cooking days

I've been cooking dinner for 3 days in row... not that is anything new to me because I cook ever since I was 12, but the funny thing is what happened today...dinner was gonna be....Hamburgers, since Fiona was here and eveyone in this house loves her bread, Marite beggs her to do it and she does it. Im there killing myself with the Hamburgers, friying them etc...the kitchen was a mess. there were 3 different activities going on: the small girls making oatmeal balls for their mommy, Clara cleaning the frigde and me cooking. So by then you can start picturing the whole situation.
Sweet Phil (7) comes up to me and says : " Delicious food Josie, your bread tastes just like Fionas!"
I cracked!! and I told him: "Fiona made it!" and it tasted good, boy let me tell,I forgot all about my hamburguers and only ate her bread for dinner. SOOOO cute! GBH, trying to make me feel special! the food came out good in the end, there were no hamburgers left...hehe and very little bread!

My vacations

The following 2 posts are from my vacations, and as some of you have read, I went to vitória which is a city 15 hours away from here to visit my mom and one of my many brothers. It was lots of fun, I had a week to Spend and like its not much, I took my time, rested, read the word and met 2 sweet girls, MARIE and ESMERALDA both sweeties and precious girls, anyone who gets to be their friends is indeed lucky. Nice meeting you girls, love you! People, enjoy the posts.

Beach Fun

Marie dont kill me ok? here are some fine pix of what I was spent my time doing...having some Marie time... heheh
The coconut situation, was pretty funny, because we bought the cocunuts drinked all the water while talking, when finished we asked someone to open it for us, but there was not a single spoon avaiable so as you see,we had to invent some kind of spoon with the cocunuts rind. Very primitive...yuppie!!
A while later Amani and abner joined us and ordered some beer, never mind the picture of me with the beer, just pretending, who knows me, knows I DONT LIKE BEER!!!
and the funny thing is that I had to repeat the same phrase like 20 times, because the whole inviroment would ask for it, the beach, sun, heat...sorry! I'll stay with my Caipirinha. to those who dont know what that is, its very brazilian! and actully my favorite drink. Its made out of lemon, cachaça or vodca and ice. Too good! My brother Thiago was always my hero on every party we would have back in Brasilia he would make at least a pitcher full just to make me happy. enough..enjoy the pix...

Abners b-day Party

It was lots of fun, the band played , he decided to be the DJ, friends came over, crazy people like my mom jumped in the pool with her party clothes and watch ...lol! the important thing though is that we had a blast! here are some shots of me, Esmeralda and Marie , the bottom one is me and the b-day boy.

Happy B-day Abner

It was today! I didnt really had time to blog about it. but here I am wishing you a happy b-day.
And you did! we went to beach, drinked beer, had fun, and now theres a party happening just for you! The Lord loves you and so does your family.
Love you man! you're a fun person to be around, a real go gether and an amazing witnesser. Its been nice living with you...I pray we get to go to lots of new years parties together...you know what that means...LOL!!!

Sunny day

Ok, I Know I told you guys that I wasn't gonna do this.. only when I got home, but I decided to write anyways, this has been my escape, I love writing and when I do get to sit down and write It just feels so good, is almost like I can fly.
I finaly got to go to the beach today and it was so nice, the part we were on was not as packed as further down, but still. it was me, mom, my brother mickey, Angie and her sister Daniele who was visting. we had such a great time, toasting on the sun, swimming or better yet, trying to get ourselves wet. The sun everyone longed for all week finaly came out, The Lord heard my prayers and it was a nice a sunny day.
Im at a young couples house, they're my good, precious friends, Rose and Natan and they have the cutest kids ever! we chatted for a long time, while both of them and mom drinked their beers, since I dont like beer I just watched. but it was lots of fun to talk to them, remember the good old times when we lived together, see their kids all growing up and different was everything.
Mom and Rose are cooking dinner right now, she just screamed that its 10 pm! lol...crazy us.
I'll stop for now. the picture above is a picture of the beach we went to in the morning, its called Jacaraipe, and lots of surfers come to this part for some reason to surf. They live 2min away from the beach, nice, cozy place.
Rose's little boy named Nando (8), participated a while ago on a championship and got the 4th place. not bad uh?

Vitoria

I'm in Vitoria, everyone! a beach town, where my mom and one of my brothers live. Arrived on the 3rd, after a 15 year hour trip, alive! I'm fine and back to action, its been great to see the folks from Juiz de fora home, plus all my sweet friends, my half bro Emanuel and others... thank God, this is doing me so good, I feel so light, so happy! This is just a short update on whats going on, the full report with pictures will be posted once I get back home. I love you!!!!
